HOW MUCH RV & MARINE ANTIFREEZE SHOULD BE USED TO WINTERIZE MY VEHICLE?

Follow the manufacturer's recommendations when winterizing all recreational vehicles.

 

WHY DOES RV & MARINE OR POOL & SPA ANTIFREEZE BECOME SLUSHY OR FREEZE?

SPLASH® RV & Marine Antifreeze is designed to provide burst protection to temperatures of -50°F, -75°F or -100°F. The -50°F and -75°F solution will freeze between +20°F and +16°F.  The -100°F solution will freeze at approximately -20°F. Frozen or slushy antifreeze still provides burst protection.

 

IS USING RV & MARINE OR POOL & SPA ANTIFREEZE HARMFUL IF I PUT IT IN MY CAR RADIATOR?

Yes. SPLASH® RV & Marine or Pool & Spa antifreeze is not designed for cooling or heating purposes.

 

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF RV & MARINE OR POOL & SPA ANTIFREEZE?

If unopened, it does not have a shelf life.

 

CAN I USE RV & MARINE ANTIFREEZE IN MY WOOD STOVE?

No, it is not for use in a wood stove. Ethanol-based antifreeze and propylene glycol is dangerous in applications that involve heating.
